My favorite game from each year 2000-2021

Author's note: This was a list I started writing around the end of 2020 if I remember correctly, at some point I lost a bunch progress which killed my mojo for doing this however recently found the energy to work on it again and get it finished. Some of the stuff here I typed up over a year ago and if anything sounds weird or off it's likely because of that gap in time and my writing has changed to some degree over that time. Also sorry if some games after much longer summaries than others, talking about 44 different games is difficult and in some cases I just struggled a little more with what to say, rest assured that I enjoyed every game on this list. This is a list I've actually been meaning to do for some time, like over a year at least. Back when the decade changed from the 2010's to 2020's a lot of people as I'm sure you all know did lists of best movies, games, TV shows and so on of the 2010's.
